The Spring Hill College men’s tennis team suffered a 5-2 defeat to Xavier (La.) at the XULA Tennis Center on Sunday.

The Badgers (8-4, 6-0 SIAC) started off with a win by Philip Bosman and Noah Eberhard (7-5) on the No. 3 doubles court. The Gold Rush (6-6, 0-0 RRAC) secured the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and 2 courts.

Bosman (6-3, 6-4, 6-0) was also able to win in singles in a close game on the No. 1 court. Hugo Blasco Granell continued his undefeated streak (8-0) in singles after winning 7-6, 6-2 on the No. 6 court.
