On the game
“You have to give Tuskegee and Coach Benjy [Taylor] a ton of credit. They played super hard and it was a really competitive game, where we went at it hammer and tongs and they hit a tough shot to put it to overtime. Their 51 free throw attempts were a lot for us to overcome. Martez Jones is just an absolute force inside. I just love the effort and energy he exerts when he plays. There are certain aspects of the game in which we have to improve. When you go to the line 13 times less than your opponent in such a contentious game on the road, you have to make the most of them. I am proud of how we battled as Tuskegee always has a loud and boisterous crowd. It was a great college game day environment.”
