Spring Hill College student-athlete Isaiah Veal was named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Veal helped lead the Badgers to a historic 113-75 victory over LeMoyne-Owen on Senior Day at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Saturday. The California native recorded 28 points while shooting 4-of-4 from the free throw line. He also tallied a career-high seven rebounds and two steals against the Magicians.
This is the second time Veal has received the weekly honor in his career.
