On the match
“The Badgers competed hard against the number seven NAIA veteran ranked LSU-A team. Doubles went quick with all three matches being 6-0, then singles started. Freshman Claire Bosman beat a ranked opponent! Freshman Brooke Powers took her opponent to the brink, losing in a third set breaker at 10-7. Sophomore Paola Marin Sabao also went the distance with an experienced player in three sets! Overall, the Badgers lost but put on a good fight against a senior-led team. We look forward to the upcoming SIAC Round-Up in Mobile and expect to do exceptionally well and qualify for the SIAC championship! We are young but talented!”
