The Spring Hill College softball team was voted to win the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference West Division and five student-athletes earned preseason honors, the SIAC announced Friday.
The Badgers were voted No. 1 in the west division by conference coaches. They finished third in the 2023 Cricket SIAC Softball Tournament last season after bowing out 4-0 to Edward Waters, who went on to take the conference title.
Five Badgers; Emma Curry, Airyonna Weaver, Amanda Glowacki, Bailey Cox and Macy Holt earned spots on the preseason teams. Curry and Weaver appeared on the first team, while Glowacki, Cox and Holt took spots on the second team.
