The Spring Hill College baseball team started the new year by announcing its 2024 schedule on Tuesday, featuring 23 home contests at Sims-Galle Field.

The Badgers will begin the season on the road with a three-game weekend series at Florida Tech on Feb. 2-3.

Spring Hill will then begin a five-game homestand by hosting in-state foe Montevallo on Feb. 6 in its home opener, followed by a three-game series with Delta State on Feb. 9-10. The first homestand will conclude with a mid-week matchup against Auburn Montgomery (AUM) on Feb. 14.

SHC will open Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play on the road at Edward Waters on Feb. 16-17, before returning home for a mid-week non-conference contest against West Florida on Feb. 20.

Morehouse will host Spring Hill on Feb. 24-25, before the Badgers return to begin a four-game homestand with a non-conference game against West Alabama on Feb. 27. The homestand will continue with SHC hosting Savannah State in a conference series (March 2-3).

Spring Hill will make a return trip to Auburn Montgomery on March 6, then come back to Mobile to host Benedict (March 9-10).

The team will hit the road for four games beginning with Montevallo on Mach 12, followed by a conference series at Albany State (March 16-17).

The Badgers will host Clark Atlanta at Sims-Galle Field on March 22-23, before hopping back on the road to face West Florida (March 27) and Lane (March 29-30).

April will start with a weekend SIAC series against LeMoyne-Owen (April 5-6), followed by a mid-week game at cross-town rival Mobile on April 9.

Kentucky State hosts Spring hill on April 13-14 and West Florida will return to Mobile for another mid-week contest on April 16. The Badgers will keep busy with a road game at regional foe Loyola (La.) the next day on April 17. Tuskegee will play host to the SHC squad on April 19-20.

Spring Hill will close out non-conference play with its final road game of the regular season at West Alabama on April 23. SHC will finish the regular season with a conference series at home against Miles on April 26-27.

The 2024 SIAC Baseball Tournament is slated for May 2-5 with a location to be announced. The NCAA Tournament will kick off with regional play on May 31.
