Poppy Binding was named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association Women’s Soccer All-South Region First Team, the D2 CCA announced Tuesday.
Binding became the first player in team history to receive All-GSC honors after being named to the All-Conference Second Team. She finished the season ranked second in the league in goals (11) and points (23).
The redshirt junior had a record-setting debut year, climbing her way into the program record books in goals. She also now sits at eighth in single-season goals, ninth in shots (42) and 10th in points.
In Spring Hill’s Division II era, the Essex, England native currently holds the career goals and game-winning goals records. She is also second in career points.
