Spring Hill College Volleyball Head Coach Peggy Martin was named the SIAC Coach of the Year, while Jaylyne Bell was named to the All-Conference Second Team, the league announced Thursday.
Martin led the Badgers to a perfect (19-0) conference mark for the seventh season in a row. On top of the perfect conference record, Martin also led her team to its first top-25 win over #11 Southwest Minnesota State in the season opener.
Sophomore middle hitter Jaylyne Bell was named to the SIAC All-Conference Second Team for the first time in her career. The Spring Hill, Kan., native leads the conference with a .395 hitting percentage and 96 total blocks this season.
