The Spring Hill College volleyball team swept its final regular season road matches against Central State (25-13, 25-11, 25-14) and Lane (25-13, 25-16, 25-14) at the SIAC West Division Cluster II on Saturday.
Spring Hill swept Central State to start things off. The Badgers led in hitting percentage with a .269 to the Marauders’ .018. SHC also led in every notable statistic category during the match.
Airyonna Weaver led the match with four service aces and a career-high 24 digs. Brooke Borgmeyer led with 12 kills while Jessica Fairly led with 22 assists. Jaylyne Bell, Mia Saavedra and Hayley Hillman led the Badgers with two blocks apiece.
Spring Hill hit .300 while holding Lane to -.021 while sweeping the Dragons. Borgmeyer led again with 11 kills. Fairly led again as well with 21 assists. Defensively, Mikayla Boyer led the match with 17 digs and Bell led with two blocks.
