Badgers Finish 8K at MC Watson Invitational

Badgers+Finish+8K+at+MC+Watson+Invitational

The Spring Hill College men’s cross country team finished 22nd in the 8k at the Mississippi College Watson Invitational on Friday.

The Badgers finished 22nd in the field of 25 that included seven Division I programs. Myles Cook led the pack in 78th and a time of 28:12.4. Thomas Monier crossed the finish line in 28:49.7 and placed 97th. Freshman Luke Mipro clocked a personal-best time of 32:43.1 in 172nd. Mohammed Shahrouj (36:13.8) finished 191st, followed by Ridge Chautin(36:15.3) in 192nd.

“This was our last prep race with our men’s team before our conference championship next Friday. We had a great day to compete. Myles ran well, Thomas had a great day although he was under the weather and Luke had a nice personal best. We have to continue to get our health back to be where we can be at our championship next week. In doing that, we’ll be right where we should be.”
