The Spring Hill College women’s soccer team tied Montevallo 1-1 in Sunday’s Gulf South Conference match at Varsity Field.
The first 45 minutes of the game were scoreless, Montevallo opened scoring in the 48th minute of play. Poppy Binding scored her ninth goal of the season with help from Madison Hitzman to level the match at 1-1 in the 78th minute
The Badgers fired off nine shots, with three being on target. Carlotta Stark made three saves while facing 15 shots.
