The Spring Hill College volleyball team swept Central State (25-18, 25-13, 25-17) and Lane (25-8, 25-14, 25-13) to finish the SIAC West Tournament at the Beacom/Lewis Gym on Saturday.
Spring Hill hit for .123 and held Central State to -.009 while leading in five major statistical categories. Jessica Fairly led the match while recording a double double with 16 assists and 15 digs. Mia Saavedra led with nine kills and three blocks, while Haile Hallmon led with three aces.
The Badgers heated up for their match against the Lane Dragons, hitting .322 while holding their opponent to .036. Saavedra led offensively again with 14 kills, Fairly led with 18 assists and a career-high five aces. Mikayla Boyer led the defense with 13 digs.
