Date: Oct. 7
Venue (Location): John Hunt Cross Country Park (Huntsville, Ala.)

They Said It – Head Coach Craig McVey
On the meet
“This was very much by numbers like a national meet.  There were a number of ranked teams here, especially from our region. We raced hard, but our prep for our conference meet had us a bit tired today. We had to do the hard workouts now, no choice in that, it will help in the long run.  We need our health to get better, we have some under the weather and there’s no way around that when you’re racing 5,000 or 8,000 meters. We’ve got just under two weeks until our conference meet, health is huge.”

Up Next
The Badger men are scheduled to compete in the Mississippi College Watson Invitational on Friday, while the women will prepare for the SIAC Cross Country Championship on Oct. 20.
