The Spring Hill College volleyball team swept LeMoyne-Owen (25-3, 25-10, 25-8) and Kentucky State (25-12, 25-9, 25-11) and moved to 10-0 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play at the Beacom/Lewis Gym on Friday.

Spring Hill started the SIAC West Tournament with a 3-0 sweep of LeMoyne-Owen. The Badgers did not allow the Magicians to score more than 10 points in a set. SHC hit a season-high .544 while holding LOC to -.151, the lowest opponent hitting percentage of the season.

Lillie Casey led the match offense with a career-high 13 kills and Jessica Fairlyled with 30 assists. Fairly also led the match defensively with 16 digs, while Mia Saavedra picked up six total blocks. Three Badgers: Kristen Mitternight (2), Hayley Hillman (2) and Haile Hallmon (1) recorded service aces.

Spring Hill finished the day with a clean sweep of Kentucky State. The Badgers recorded 14 service aces while not allowing a single one from the Thorobreds. Airyonna Weaver led with eight aces, followed by Saavedra with three and Mikayla Boyer with two.

Jaylyne Bell led the match with 13 kills and six total blocks, while Fairly led with 19 assists. Fairly is 1,000 assists away from tying the DII-era program career record.
