Men’s Golf Starts Season at Full Moon Invitational

Mens+Golf+Starts+Season+at+Full+Moon+Invitational

The Spring Hill College men’s golf team placed seventh at the Full Moon Invitational, hosted by Montevallo, on Tuesday.

The tournament marked the start of the 2023-24 campaign for Spring Hill. The Badgers finished six spots behind the winner, Montevallo, who came in 12 strokes under par.

Hudson Carr (74-71—145) recorded a career low two-round score of 145 and placed 12th. Nicholas Couchard (76-76—152) and Chris Brignet (77-75—152) tied for 26th overall. In his collegiate debut, Luc Weyell (77-77—154) tied for 33rdindividually. Fellow freshman Kevin Tobergte (82-75—157) also made his debut with a tie for 36th. Maarten Wellen (81-78—159), the third freshman debuting on the Badger lineup, finished 41st while competing as an independent.
