Badgers Finish Blazer Tournament with a Pair of Wins

Badgers+Finish+Blazer+Tournament+with+a+Pair+of+Wins

The Spring Hill College volleyball team defeated both Coker and Valdosta State during the final day of the Blazer Fall Volleyball Tournament at The Complex on Satuday.

Spring Hill opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of Coker (25-11, 25-9, 25-22) at the Blazer Fall Tournament. Mia Saavedra led the match with 27 assists and 4 blocks, while Mikayla Boyer led with 14 digs.

SHC went on to defeat Valdosta State 3-1 (25-27, 29-27, 28-26, 26-24) to finish the tournament. Brooke Borgmeyerand Airyonna Weaver led the Badgers with 13 kills apiece, while Saavedra led the match with 44 assists. On the defensive side, Boyer led with 20 digs.
