Natalia Michas tied for third individually while leading the Spring Hill College women’s golf team to a fifth-place finish in the BMCU Spring Classic at the Old Waverly Golf Club on Monday.
Round three, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, was canceled due to weather and course conditions. The Badgers (329-316—645) finished four spots behind the winner, William Carey, who shot 623 (317-306). Michas (78-74—152) was named to the All-Tournament Team after tying for third individually. She carded a career-low two-round tournament score and recorded four birdies, the third-most at the event.
Through the par-72, 5,883-yard course Molly Kirkman (83-78—161) tied for 18th overall, followed by Kitrie Noe’ (82-81—163) who finished in a tie for 24th. Evie Graves (88-83—171) and Michelle Lorio (86-88—174) tied for 40th and 48th, respectively.

Tournament Notes
– The Badgers tallied the second-most birdies (12) through both rounds.
– Kirkman and Noe led the Badgers par-3 scoring average (3.13) and held the second-best at the tournament.
– Michas had the best par-4 scoring average (4.30) on the team and third-best overall.
– Michas’ par-3 scoring average of 3.25 was the third-best at the event.
– Kirkman and Michas also recorded the best par-5 scoring (5.00) among the Badgers and third-best overall.
