The Spring Hill College men’s tennis team continue their undefeated run in the first SIAC Round-Up of the season, beating LeMoyne-Owen, 4-0, and Lane College, 7-0.
The Badgers kicked the day off with the 4-0 win over LeMoyne-Owen. Philip Bosman, Tom Gutermann, Paul-Philip Kern and Charles Wallace earned cleaned sweeps in singles play winning 6-0, and with games being played to clinch, it was all SHC needed to secure their first victory of the day.
Spring Hill rolled into game two with a dominating 7-0 win over Lane College. The doubles teams of Bosman/Noah Eberhard, Kern/Gutermann, and Arthur Praud/Matthew Pirie completed clean sweeps in doubles play, with flawless 6-0 victories to secure the doubles point.
The Badgers kept the momentum up in singles; where Gutermann, Kern, Praud, and Pirie got clean sweeps in their matches, winning 6-0, and giving SHC its second win of the day, keeping the Badgers perfect in the Round-Up and on the season.
