“Again, every event discipline is contributing to our overall level of performance. We had two school records. One in the men’s hammer held on Friday. Ethan Elliottbroke a nine-year-old school record by just short of four meters. Grant Nastasieclipsed a four-year-old school record in the 200 by .47 of a second. in the men’s 200m. ”
“Overall, we had 22 personal bests with 14 of those being top-10 performances in program history. We were fortunate to have had the weather we had Saturday. We’ll take sunny and warm over cool, rain, and windy any time.”
“This was a great continuation from March 2nd. We’re looking forward to being in Atlanta [on] Friday and Saturday for the Emory Thrills in the Hills Invitational, which is a great, huge competition. It has additional meaning this year. It’s being held at Morehouse College’s facility, which will also host our conference meet on April 25-27. Being there in advance of our conference meet is a great prep for one month from now.”
