The Spring Hill College men’s tennis team took down Bethel, 4-3, at Medal of Honor Park (Cottage Hill Park) on Sunday.

Paul-Philipp Kern and Tom Gutermannkicked off the day with a 6-2 win in doubles, followed by a 6-0 sweep by Matthew Pirie and Jack Robinson which secured the doubles point for SHC.

The Badgers would stay in form moving into singles play, where Gutermann once again came up with a victory winning 6-3, 6-4. Hugo Blasco Granell had a hard-fought singles win, which went into a third set with scores of 6-7, 7-5, 6-4. Freshman Noah Eberhard also marked a win for SHC, winning 6-4, 6-1.
