For the fourth time this season, Walter Peggs Jr. earned a weekly recognition from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the SIAC announced Tuesday.

The guard out of Jackson, Tenn., received his fourth weekly conference award of the season. He was named the week one Newcomer of the Week before earning back-to-back Player of the Week awards.

The junior, who leads Division II in 3-pointers made, led the Badgers to a dominating 103-85 conference win at Edward Waters on Saturday with 31 points. He also recorded a season-high nine rebounds and went 6-8 from beyond the arc.

The third SIAC Player of the Week award earned by Peggs Jr. is the most by any player in a single season in program history.
