Spring Hill College’s Brooke Borgmeyer, Mikayla Boyer and Mia Saavedra all recieved SIAC Weekly Honors, the league announced Tuesday.
Borgmeyer picked up her first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season after a great weekend of conference play. The redshirt junior outside hitter led two out of the four clean sweeps by the Badgers at the SIAC West Division Cluster II. She ranks sixth in the conference with 232 kills on the year.
Boyer tallied her third Defensive Player of the Week award after leading the Badgers to five straight conference sweeps. Across the five victories, the graduate libero totaled 72 digs. She ranks fourth in the SIAC in digs this season with 395.
Saavedra received her third Newcomer of the Week honor and fourth overall weekly conference award. The freshman led Spring Hill in their five clean sweeps with 29 digs, 83 assists and 33 kills.
