The Spring Hill College women’s soccer team was defeated by Christian Brothers 4-1 in Sunday’s Gulf South Conference match at Library Field.
The Buccaneers were only able to get a single goal past the Badgers in the first half. They started off the second half with three more goals to take a 4-0 lead. Poppy Binding was assisted by Marta Mayoral Montero in the 89th minute, leaving the score at 4-1 in favor of CBU after 90 minutes.
Spring Hill took nine shots, six of which were on target. Carlotta Stark made eight saves while facing 18 shots. SHC was awarded three corner kicks over the course of the match.
