The Spring Hill College women’s soccer team fell 8-1 to Gulf South Conference (GSC) foe Mississippi College at Robert P. Longabuagh Field on Sunday.
Spring Hill took eight shots, including three on goal, and was awarded two corner kicks. The Badgers fell to 4-3-0 while the Choctaws improved to 2-1-1.
Mississippi College scored eight consecutive goals, with five coming in the second half. Poppy Binding scored SHC’s lone goal in the 89th minute of play. Carlotta Stark made seven saves while facing 26 shots.
