Get ready to run, eat, and celebrate at this year’s Badger Dash 5K Color Run on Saturday, April 12th, at Stewartfield on Spring Hill College campus. The event is free to participate in and is open to runners of all ages and experience levels to run the course.
The day will begin with race registration at 10:00 a.m., with the race starting at 11:00 a.m. Participants will run along a scenic route through the Avenue of the Oaks. As a color run, contestants will be covered in vibrant, non-toxic color powder at multiple checkpoints, adding excitement to the race.
Following the run, attendees can look forward to a packed schedule of festivities. The Avenue Party begins at noon, offering food from popular vendors including Empanola, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Mob Snow. From shopping at local boutiques to face painting, the event will have something for you, including a Burrito-Eating Contest that will start at 1:00 pm. The event will also have live concerts and DJs on the Hill. Featuring Spring Hill’s very own artists, such as Noé, RDM, Ethan Valdez, and Parker Lyons, creating an electric atmosphere to celebrate the day.
“I’m so excited for the Badger Dash, I think it’s a great way to bring Spring Hill and the Mobile community together for a good cause,” said an event organizer, Allie Berg. “We welcome runners of all skill levels to join us for a day filled with excitement.”
Free venue parking will be available, and the event is free to register for and open to all runners. Donations are welcome, with all proceeds supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission to help treat childhood cancer.
Come celebrate life at Spring Hill with friends and our community—we cannot wait to see you there!
