Badgers+Come+Up+Short+Against+Tuskegee

The Spring Hill College women’s tennis team lost 6-1 to Tuskegee on Thursday.

Emma Koch and Danielle Day kicked off doubles play with a 6-2 win, followed by a 6-4 victory by Claire Bosman and Brooke Powers that clinched the point for the Badgers (6-10, 5-4 SIAC). Romina Kroemerand Emma Pager finished up doubles where they went into a tie breaker after a 7-6 set, which they won 3-0.

In singles play, Koch fought hard in her set, ultimately dropping it 2-6, 6-3, 4-6. Powers also had a tough set, 6-4, 6-7, 8-10 dropping her point in a tie breaker.
