Spring Hill Falls to #7 West Florida

The Spring Hill College baseball team fell 8-4 to #7 West Florida in Tuesday evening’s non-conference matchup at Sims-Galle Field.

Nick Hunter led the Badgers and went 5-for-2 with a run and a double while extending his reached base streak to 11 games. Bryce Anderson went 4-for-2 and crossed the plate.

In total, the SHC pitching staff tallied six strikeouts. Kai St. Germaine suffered his first loss of the season on the mound.

Spring Hill opened scoring on an RBI bunt from Ethan Valdez that brought Parker Serio home in the second inning. West Florida responded in the fourth with a pair of runs, before SHC tied it later that inning.

The Badgers scored two more runs in the fifth to extend their lead to 4-2. The Argonauts went on a 6-0 run starting in the seventh and defeated Spring Hill 8-4.
